The Princeton Biofeedback Centre LLC, Presents the SPRING 2008 BRAIN SYNCHRONY "THE COUPLES CONNECTION" and OPEN FOCUS™* TRAINING
|
2008 OPEN FOCUS TRAINING WORKSHOP
|
Training of whole head, phase synchronous brain wave activity yields significant and performance benefits. OPEN FOCUS attention
exercises can be used clinically along with neurofeedback to reduce the many symptoms of stress, dissolve physical and emotional
pain and to enhance well being and performance.
We offer a unique opportunity for couples interested in using a combinations of Open Focus attention training
and neurofeedback to foster connection and intimacy.
The protocol employs the use of linked neurofeedback that requires both partners to produce whole head,
phase synchronous brain waves in tandem with each other in order to get feedback. Neither partner will get
feedback if they are out of synchrony with the other. The resultant experience is a sense of harmony and
oneness, an experience called by one participant as the "honeymoon experience".
In addition to employing neurofeedback, couples will learn to dissolve feelings of discord, dissension or pain in
each other and in themselves. Partners learn to dissolve the emotions that divide them, and as a result,
feelings of safety and intimacy come to the fore.
We conduct these intensives with one couple per intensive, over a time frame tailored to each couple's
particular needs and availability. We need a minimum of four hours on a single day, but may go for as long as
three to four days over an extended weekend, for eight hours each day. Dr. Fehmi and Susan Shor are both
present for most of the intensive hours.
Brain Synchrony Training – October 25th, 2008 - 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM - The first day of the Workshop includes participants training
each other, and experiencing multiple sessions of 5-channel brain synchrony training. The objectives are to demonstrate how OPEN
FOCUS and synchrony training alleviate symptoms, dissolve uncomfortable experience and support improved performance.
“The Couples Connection” Training October 26th, 2008 - 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM - The second day of the Workshop provides linked
neurofeedback that trains two or more participants to produce whole head, phase synchronous brain waves in tandem. Less feedback
is provided when an individual is out of synchrony in one’s own brain, or out of synchrony with a partner, or with a group. For many, the
resultant experience is a sense of harmony and union, called “the honeymoon response” by one participant. Read more: www.

OPEN FOCUS Training – October 27, 2008 - 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM - The 1-day OPEN FOCUS Workshop is to provide the experience of
one full day of verbally guided OPEN FOCUS exercises, without using instrumentation, with emphasis on dissolving physical and
emotional experience and pain.
